Autumn News Letter

Dear wines lovers,

I have just come back from London where I attend the Award Ceremony for the International Wine Challenge where I was judge. It was fun and felt bizarre to taste again all the wines we picked out of thousands to be the best of each category.

Somehow I also felt sad for those who did not win. There are so many skilled wine makers and so many great wines that deserve our attention! Yet the media focused on the 2009 vintage, THE century vintage, and its sky-rocking prices… Before we can afford drinking those wonderful wines, I suggest we start enjoying a few bottles that I have prepared for you.

A new idea: After watching again, Bottle Shock, I thought I would like to share with you the fun of watching a few wine movies and have the tasting that goes with the movie after! What do you think?
